Of course, before you start setting up Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync android, there are a few things you're going to need. First, you'll need your android phone on hand along with a mobile plan that comes with data. You'll also need to have an Exchange account that is working so you can connect it to your android. Certain information is required for you to set up your Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync android account. Second, you'll need to have the server address for your Exchange account, which probably will be an OWA address. You'll also need to have both the username and the password for your account. In many cases, you will need to have the account's domain name as well. Once you have all this information, you're ready to start setting up Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync android.

Do you have an email account on the phone already, such as a Hotmail, Google or Yahoo account?
